Oitavos Dunes · Cascais
Sandy dune-land, umbrella pines and ocean views between Cascais and the Sintra hills.
Our most requested round near Lisbon, and deservedly so: natural, uncrowded and beautifully conditioned. Walking is a pleasure here, and the ocean stretch in the middle of the round is the moment the group stops to take pictures. Strong players find it a genuine test, while the openness keeps it fair for everyone else.

Penha Longa · Sintra
A championship test in the protected hills of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
Cool, shaded and hilly, which makes it a fine choice in high summer when the coast is bright. Take buggies: the elevation changes are part of the drama and keep the round moving. The resort's dining is among the best in the country, so this is the day to build an evening around.

Pines, lakes and sea views on the edge of Cascais.
Flat, friendly and close to Cascais, this is the round we suggest for arrival day or for a group with beginners among them. Tee times are usually straightforward to arrange at short notice. Afterwards you are ten minutes from the seafront restaurants, which makes for an easy first evening together.

A tree-lined classic and host venue of the Open de Portugal.
Tight avenues of pine reward straight hitting and make for a satisfying, strategic round rather than a long one. Good value for a golf society playing several days in a row. The pine shade is welcome in summer and the venue is used to handling full starting sheets.
